Trust efforts appreciated
Lunenburg - The Bluenose II Preservation Trust has received a letter of appreciation from the South Shore Tourism Association. The letter, dated August 4, 2004, and signed by Lynne Perry, Executive Director of the Association, reads, “By motion of the Board of Directors of the South Shore Tourism Association. I am sending you a thank you to recognize all of the volunteer efforts and commitment to the restoration, upkeep of Bluenose II and to the future of our sailing ambassador. Your dedication to the ship and its place in our Canadian history is respected and appreciated.”
